Sharon Stone is not holding back her thoughts about aging.
The actress, 67, shared her unfiltered opinions in an Instagram post, which she says was prompted by a reaction to a nude painting in her art studio.
"Are we supposed to be terrified when we look in the mirror?" she says in a video clip shared on Monday, Feb. 16. "Is it supposed to be a secret when we pee and poo and brush our teeth? Why are we supposed to be afraid of our own human self? It's like the weirdest idea in the world to me."
She continues, "Excuse me, I wear it every day. I get up in it. I go to sleep in it. I pee in it. I poo in it. It's my apartment. I live here."
Stone expanded on her viewpoint in the post's caption.
"Why in 2026 are we still afraid of aging & living in our own selves," she began. "We are more than appearance.. we are artists, mothers, sisters, wives, nurses, teachers… and the list goes on!"
"I got really fired up about this when I was touring my studio a few weeks back," Stone added. "The filming crew had requested to move a painting out of shot, 'the Goddess' whom happens to be a naked woman. We are afraid of nudity on our screens, our bodies, our home.. but not violence or every other thing we are constantly bombarded with day in and day out? Get real!"...

It's not that people are afraid of aging. It's I mean let's be real. Everybody wants to be young, right? Like let's be real younger humans look more pretty. That's a fact! .. And also another fact is that a lot of people simply how should I say it when you are aged physically it's visible so that in itself creates a boundary potentially and in 9 out of 10 cases between people, and to prove that fact, it's that you can be. You know 40 and look 25 and you going to have a total difference interaction with somebody who is way younger than 25 because they think you are around 25 then if they knew that you are actually 40 and if you will look actually 40ish .. so it's a little more complicated than just what she was saying.. and as for nudity, well I think we observed that subject way too many times.. but for the record I scroll on tiktok and I saw this dude. He was like I don't 20. 22 maybe and he had a short story where he described how he saw when he was 13 and at the sleepover how he saw his friend naked to cut his story short he was at a sleepover. The next morning he went to pee and the guy he was at didn't know that he was in the bathroom so he wanted to go also there but it was completely naked and then he confessed to him that he sleeps naked so.. but the thing is that I can't believe that people are making a video about. Oh my God. I saw somebody naked in 2026.. I mean compare this to old days like what the fuck happened to the world lol.. I know what did USA of course because this was in USA... It's speech to text so it's easy to make it long hah
